She joined the Air Force in early June, 1950 and went to Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX for basic training. Following basic she went to Clerk/Typist school at Frances E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY, and was later assigned to Bolling AFB, Washington DC. Some time during 1951 she transferred to Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH and was I believe she married some time in late 1951 or early 1952. In the event you may have only known her by her married name, she was born in Chattanooga, TN, I believe on 11/9/29, and worked at Dixie Mercerizing prior to enlisting in the Air Force. • DEEDS, Bonnie: Looking to correspond with other people I know but have lost track of. I enlisted in the Air Force in May 1976, went to Keesler AFB, MS, and became an Administrative Specialist. My first assignment was Elmendorf AFB, AK - 1976 to 1980. From there I went to Keesler AFB, MS and worked for the DCM (remember what those were?) until 1984, when I crossed trained into Logistics Management. My first assignment was Moody AFB, GA from 1984-1985. I guess the AF thought I'd been at Moody too long because they sent me to Taegu AFB, Korea after 15 months at Moody. I was at Taegu from Oct 1985 to Oct 1986 and from there went to 9AF at Shaw AFB, SC. I was there (and MANY TDY bases) from Oct 1986 to Nov 1989. I was then transferred to 17AF at Sembach AB, Germany for a three year tour (1989-1992). When I left there they sent me to my current assignment and I'm still on active duty. I've met a lot of interesting and wonderful people over the year but, unfortunately, also lost track of a lot of them. • TRAER, KAREN (posted 9-1-99):  I entered the Air Force in July, 1981 and completed Basic Training under Sgt. Theresa LaPerle (sp).  From there, I attended tech school at Keesler for electronics.  My first station was Bytheville, AFB AR, 2101 Comm Sqd; second was Lindsay AS Germany, 1st Combat Comm.  I married and became Airman Guerrero.  I was stationed on a Humanitarian at Kelly AFB EIS  until my seperation.  I was given much support and kindness, and would now like to give something back. Was in the Air Force Honor Guard from 94-96 (The Pentagon from 95-96), and then I went to Aviano AFB (which was great) until 98.
