Comment: Del Rio is alright if you like hot dry desert weather and going to Mexico on weekends it 6 miles away. They even have a marina at a Lake Amistad with a BX and everything. And it's only two hours from San Antonio, and 12 from Cancun. This is my first duty station it's alright, but i want to go to Vegas or New York.

Comment: This is a wonderful site for all Women in the Military to hopefully find and relate to new and old friends. I, served in the United States Marine Corps, and the Marine Corps Reserves, however when I was in we were not allowed to have children. I've always wished that I could have retired.
