Comment: This site is a wonderful meeting place for all Military Personnel - past & present. The Military gives men and women a chance to serve our wonderful country, and to meet other interesting men & women. The Military has been my savior. My husband and I served from 1959 - 1961, and our youngest son served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1991 - 1995. We have always been proud of our Military, and we thank God for our Troops that protect and serve us every day. God Bless America!!

Comment: "Daddy's Little Girl Has Gone To War" is a song I co-wrote in 1991 from a poem Vincent Kanipe wrote to his daughter, Tammy, serving in Desert Storm. That war ended before we could get the song out. But with the new Iraq war, we revised the song, made it more commercial, and then got a new recording made of it be Colte Bradley on Rustic Records. I would like all women in the armed forces, past, present, and future, to hear this song. At the time we wrote it, there was no other song about women in the military. Many radio and TV stations are playing it, especially those in West Virginia where PFC Jessica Lynch grew up. But I need the help of your membership to get the song out all across the country. I will send you a copy for review if you will give me the name and address of the person to whom it should be addressed. I would also like to get a copy into the hands of the top women in the Armed Forces. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you soon. This needs to happen now while the nation's attention is receptive to a song of this nature. Regards, Glenn Warren, Iron County Music
