Comment: Served in the U.S. Women's Army Corp. from 1959 through 1961 - Basic training at Ft McClellan, AL from Nov. 1959 till Jan. 1960 - Transferred to medical at Ft Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) through May 1960 - transferred to Administration at Ft Sill, OK until my Honorable Discharge in Nov. 1961. My last job with the Army was at the Visitor's Bureau (McNair Hall) and I truly loved my job. The Military is a wonderful experience for all men and women, and you will meet many wonderful people. Still looking for the many women that I served with during my tenure in the Army - 1959 - 1961. God Bless our Troops serving today. We all send our Prayers!!
