Comment: Joined the Army Nurse Corp in 1945 after not being allowed to join the Navy due to it's segregation policy. Had a most interesting tour of duty at Fort McCoy,WI and at Tort Geo.G. Mead,MD. Those were chalanging times .So glad I found your site.

Comment: I first was introduced to this website a couple of years ago and found it very informative and good place for military ro express themselve about different issues. Just recently, because of this webiste, I helped a mom cope with the fact that her daugther wanted to join the military and was very determined to do so but wanted different opinions.
