Hi!**I have started talking to a recruiter about going to OCS after I graduate.**I am currently a Sophomore in college.**I would love to hear from anyone who can share their experiences or who has advice for me!I also have several questions...**I feel that I'm in pretty good shape (I'm captain of my college swim team this year.)**But, I'm not a runner.**How big of a problem is this, and what can I do to prepare myself?I'm also not sure what I want to do.**I think that I want to be a public affairs officer.**Can anyone help me learn more about this job?One more thing, a recruiter told me to take the officer qualifying test.**I've been told since then that a high SAT score can substitute for it.**Is this true? Thanks for trying to help me out!** Michelle

Thanks for the help!**I'm grateful for any information that I can get.**Because I'm only a Sophomore, I've pretty much been put on hold by the nearest recruiter (for officer programs.)**She wants to wait until I'm a Senior.**I can understand why she'd see it that way.**However, I'd like to have information now, so that I can make a decision before I graduate.**I'd like to know as much as I can about what I'd be getting into, before I have to make a decision.**It would also be nice to have time to convince my family that it wouldn't be a bad idea.**If you have any other information that you can share, please e-mail me or post it.**Thanks again!
