Old Age and the Navy

I am 33 and thinking of joining up.**I have a MA in archaeology (long storyand not nearly as exciting as those Indiana Jones movies) so I'd join as anofficer.**There are only two programs that would accept me at my age and theyare cryptology (math - yuck) and intelligence (info. synthesis - yeah).**Myfriends think I'm nuts for considering it but I'm really interested.**I'd beinterested in advice or thoughts from anyone on my situation - what can Iexpect as an older junior officer, will OCS knock me on my butt, etc.**Repliescan be posted to the board or e-mailed to me directly at MWest2001@aol.com.Thanks,Mindy
