Tomorrow, September 17th, I will be meeting with a Naval Recruiter for the first time.**I am thinking of going the military route for med school or PA school.**It would not be until after college graduation, which is in another year and a half.**If ANYONE out there can write to me, telling me why they chose Navy over the other branches, or if they went for Medicine PLEASE write back. I would GREATLY appreciate it!! Thank you.

: first of all I think you desrve congrats for going the college route! I also think that the navy is the way to go simply because of the atmosphere differnce between the branches. the army and marines have more of a in your face gung hoe do as I say and do it now type attitude where as the navy is a little more subdue and not so um psycho!!!! personaly my family doc. went through the navy to get his medical degree and he wouldn't have had it any other way he loved every minute he spent there and still thinks it is one of the greatest decisions he's ever made. he also says that getting out to practice medicine when he was done is another awsome choice!! so take the trainging and put in some time and think of all the money you saved and know that you spent time serving in the worlds greatest navy!good luck
