I'm beginning training to lose weight and get myself in good physical condition to join the Navy!**I would be going toOCS since I've already graduated from college.**I've read some of the postings here regarding bootcamp and I waswondering how significantly,if at all, OCS may differ.**What is the ratio of the class time to actual physicalexercises?**Was it helpful in determining what path you wanted to choose after OCS?**Should you know this before evenleaving for OCS?**I guess I just want to know how to best prepare myself both physically, mentally, and emotionally.**Thanksin advance for your help!**=) Melissa/Annapolis, Md.After October 17th, please use the following e-mail address; Missila779@aol.com

I hear that OCS is a different world then bootcamp, yet still harder then OIS is.**I just spoke with a Lt. in Denver this morning, he was telling me that OCS has rigorous physical requirments.**The recruiters tell me that enlisted "have more fun," I dont know about all that, their definition of fun seems sketchy to me!!Have you already taken your OC Selection tests? If so, how were they? I will be going in also, either Med Service Corp or General Officer. You should keep in touch with me, cause it sounds like you'll be going through it before I do....jen
