Hi, does anyone have any advice on leaving close friends, husbands, and family members without thinking about it all the time in boot camp?**I was in the Army a few years ago, but I didn't mind leaving my friends and family.**Now I'm married, and my husband and I will be separated for approximately six months.**In the year and a half we've been together, the longest we've been separated is three days.**Any advice?**I don't want to be distracted in boot camp or OS training in Virginia.

thinking about them is what gets you through boot not trying to not think about them. tell them to write you everyday or at least as many times as they can, even if it's just about regular life, it gets you through help take your mind off what your going through
