okay, sorry. I know that the women wh served in the 40-60's saw a lot of changes and I didn't mean to sound like I was denying them anything.I have a lot of respect fo the women who came before me. I shouldn't have said it like that. But from a book writing perspective, there have been a bunch of books written about females in the military during world war 2 and korea and even into the 70's. They can be found through the women's memorial. but i don't know of many that are being written about today's military. If there is it is about sexual harrassment or the first women jet pilots. If I were to write a book like Macy is thinking about from bootcamp to retirement. I would find an ordinary military female who recently retired and follow her career. I personally think that there is not enough information out there about ordinary career females. The focus always seems to be on the extraordinary careers. I am of the opinion that any female who joins the military at all is extraordinary. I hope that no one took offense at what I wrote.
