I am taking my Military Flight Aptitude Test for OCS next Thursday. Does anyone know what to expect? Also, I am having trouble with "man-style" push-ups. Any advice?

Sure! I've been in for seven and a half years .. thanks to some really tough company commanders in boot, in '91, I could do eighty pushups in a couple of minutes! Keep your chin UP, eyes ahead, back STRAIGHT. Pull in your tummy if you have to! Some people find it helps to 'roll up' on your toes; push as far forward as possible on your toes while staring straight ahead and doing the pushups. Make sure you are putting your weight over your shoulders, instead of on your whole body. And keep doing this, do it every day; practice CONSTANTLY. Start with 'girl' pushups and work your way up; as soon as you can start doing 'man' pushups. Our CC's dropped us constantly, and we were very good at pushups after only a few short weeks. If you have hand-weights, use them as much as you can. I wish you all the luck in the world --- the service needs strong women in the Officer fields!
