Are there any websites out there that can help prepare me to take the ASVAB? Or perhaps a book or two that someone would recommend? I want to go into the AECF, and my pre-ASVAB test score at the recruiting station was very good, but I would still like to be prepared, all the same. Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I plan on taking it either next week or the week following that.
Thanks!

Hi Lena,
You can pick up a study guide at your local library, it's called "Barron Study guide for the ASVAB" it's really helpful. Also, look up ASVAB on the net that should help you out.....GOOD LUCK!

Hi! I don't know about the internet, but there are plenty of ASVAB prep books out there. I bought 3 of them to study from and for the most part they were pretty similar. Barron's prints one, ARCO has 2 (ASVAB and a simplified ASVAB Basics), and there were a couple of others that I can't remember the names of. Check www.amazon.com for a complete list. Since you need it soon (give yourself at least a week of solid study time if you can), you'd be better off going to a book store than ordering on-line. Any of the bigger ones should have some ASVAB books, probably shelved with other study guides, like the SAT. Good luck, Lena! Kate

To responders: Thank you very much! On your advice, I went to a nearby bookstore and picked up a Barron's guide to the ASVAB. It's great...has everything I was looking for. Thank you for the advice and well-wishing, hopefully I will do well enough on the test to get the job I want to have! :-)
