I don't know if this board is just for U.S. military but anyway I'm in my second year at University and was thinking about joining the U.K. Navy. I'm not sure if I'm going to leave after getting an ordinary degree after three years or do honors(I'm in Scotland so our Honors degrees are four years.)
I wanted to know how hard it is to get into Officer training(I've got some info on the AIB from the Navy site)? What are the PT requirments, and is there alot of PT during the training? I saw videos with hiking across Dartmore with big packs. I think I could probably meet the physical requirments if they are anything like the U.S. Navy.
Are they are medical conditions that would exempt you since I hate some operations when I was about 5, and I mean serious operations but I'm fine now.
Also I'm interested in Intel, I checked out the specialisations at the Navy site but I couldn't get any information.
I know this is alot of questions so sorry about that.
Hope someone can help
