My mother, 87 years old was a USMCWR (womens reserve) around 1944. She remembers the following words to a boot camp song:

She's a Lady in Green
She's a Lady Marine
She's the queen of the cream of the corp

From her boot camp you'll see
She's so Military
But for only duration of war

When her leatherneck beau
comes from old Tokyo
he will find what he's been fighting for

For she's right on the beam
She's a Lady in Green
She's a Lady Marine

Does anyone else remember this?
