Hey, Ladies! Have you heard about the Women Marines
Association? NO????!! Well, it's out there, and it's
composed of women who honorably served in the Corps.
Members who served in WW II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert
Storm. Women who trailblazed a path for the rest of
us to follow. If you're interested, send me an e-mail
and I'll tell you more about it! Also, my local
chapter has completed work on a 1997 historical
calendar of just Women Marine history! It's the first
ever of its kind and is selling like hotcakes at $10
(with price breaks for more). Again, e-mail me if
you're interested! Semper fi!!

My kid sister is a Woman Marine (Yes, we do belive that once -- always).
She served back in the early - middle 70's in suchplaces as 29 Palms, and Pendleton.
Her name then was Pat Slyck; andshe'd be interested in hearing from anyone who might remember her. She can be gotten ahold of thru me.

For more information about The Women Marine Association check out this web site.

http://www.womenmarines.org

You will find information and an application for joining.

I went in the Corps in March 1972. I was at 29 Palms for the first graduating class from the Comm Center Chief school in late 1975. I was only there for a month. Sorry I don't remember your sister.
