At the 1996 Biennial Convention of the Women Marines Association, the Heartland Chapter, OK-2, unveiled the first ever WMA Historical Calendar.**The calendar was a hit at the convention, and continues its success to this date.For the 1998 calendar, the Heartland Chapter is sponsoring a photo contest with prizes going to the top photos selected for inclusion in that calendar.**The categories are:**on duty/at work; ceremonies; recreation; training; WMA conventions; symbols of esprit de corps.**All pictures must be of or pertain to women Marines.**The photographs must be in reasonably sharp focus (the sharper the better), color or black and white, 8 X 10 or larger.**A separate sheet of paper should be included bearing your name, address & telephone number, an explanation of the photo(s), names of personnel in photo(s) and the category under which it is submitted.**If the photo is of a large group, names may be left off as long as the group as a whole is identified.PHOTOGRAPHS WILL NOT BE RETURNED, so please make a photocopy of your picture and send that.**NOT A XEROX COPY!Send e-mail to:**Sondra45@juno.com to receive the address for contest entries or if you have any questions.**Deadline for entries is 31 May 1997!
