Dear Nikki:**The Marine Corps would be a good way for you to gain experience in journalism/public affairs field.**Talk to your recruiter about it.**Also, you can go to school while you're in, the Corps pays 75% of you college education while you're in and you'd have the GI Bill when you get out. No, you won't go to Antartica.**The farthest perhaps Japan, but I was there for a year and it was a blast.**Yes, keep your car.**If you have anymore questions send me an e-mail: beaunus1@juno.com

Hi!!**I am a third year college student who needs money for school... I am from a small town in West Virginia, so there is not very much opportunity here...**I am looking for skill training, completing my college degree, moving out of this area, and make some money while I'm at it... I am pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism, so I am very interested in the public affairs field....**Does it sound like the marines are for me???**If I join what should I expect, and also my parents are a little skeptical about this (they're afraid that I will be stationed in Antarticia!!!) how can I ease their minds a little??? Also should I take my car after basic training??? Thanks Nikki =)
