In my research for more information on basic training**I found a very resourceful site.**The site is ideal for recruits in the DEP and their parents.**It includes the following: directions on how to get to the island,**local hotels and accomodations, graduation dates, statistics on recruit training; a break down of hours spent on PT, classes, etc. during the entire twelve weeks; and a break down of what will occur during each week in training along with a brief description of training activites.**These are just to name a few.**The address is: www.parrisisland.mil**good luck surfing!
