Would like to hear from old friends from Plt.1-A in 1966. Would like to especially find Richie Alexander from that platoon. Would also like to hear from anyone who was stationed at Camp Pendleton from 1966 to 1967. Anyone who was in the Disbursing Office there or at MCSC in Albany, GA. in 67/68.

Well I wasn't there when you were. I was in Platoon 7-A in 68 at Parris Island and as mentioned in earlier messages I was in D.C./Arlington,VA (Pentagon), Camp Pendleton Jan. 71-72, than volunteered for overseas Okinawa, than back to HDQRS in D.C.
How many years did you serve? I probably would have stayed in if I had not had to receive a disability discharge in 76. Had 8 1/2 years in than.
I originally went in for 4 and reenlisted for 6. I was discharged with 21% disability for fibromyalgia, also known as fibrosis. Getting ready to get evaluated again. I've had alot of problems with it these last 3 years and now it's affecting my eyesight.
The local DAV has taken on my case to help me get a higher disability rating so I can receive permanent benefits.
Maybe we have run into some of the same people along the way.
