Hi, Just found this webpage. I am shipping out 3 JAN 00. Would love to talk to anyone else shipping out on that date. Would also love anyone's advice on anything. I am real excited to becoming a Marine. My MOS is MP. I would love any information that I could get concerning the MP (ie. training school, what to expect, what can I do to get a head start). I am interested in getting into the canine unit? I asked my recruiter and he doesn't have the information so I was wondering if anyone out here could help me. Thanks

This is a great site. I have found a lot of answers to some of my questions that my recruiter couldn't answer. Thanks

Dear Lynn,

Good luck in boot camp and congratulations on making on of the biggest steps that you could ever make in your life. I graduated boot camp on 30July of this year and I am heading out to the fleet as a 6821 (Weather Observer) ath the beginning of this year. However, my brother is a Sgt. and he is an MP and I am sure that if you would like to email him that he would answer any questions that you have.
