ASVAB Score

What is the required minimum score on the ASVAB to get into the Marines? An ARMY Recruiter told me that it was 56, but since he was trying to get me to join the Army, I wasn't sure if that was true or not. I'm having a lot of trouble remembering the things I've studied in my ASVAB Study Guides, does anyone have any tips? Or anyone in the Colorado area be willing to help me out with studying???????

Kelly, My recruiter told me that the minimum score needed for the ASVAB is 38. The Army recruiter may have been right too.....while I am not 100% positive I really think the minimum scores are different for each branch. You will also have to look at the GT composite score of the test. Minimum scores are needed to apply for a certain MOS. Don't be so nervous about the test.....that what's probably hindering you the most. If you were an average or better student in high school I promise you there will be no need to worry. I found it very easy & did quite well without studying. Relax, study & remember to breathe when you take the test.
