I want to thank each and every one of you for contributing to this site. I've laughed, gotten pissed off, and been moved to the point of tears reading what each of you has to say. Before I saw this site I wanted to join the military, but it was when I read the messages of the many Marines - women and men, active, reserve, and retired - that I could FEEL the pride moving through the words on my computer screen. Not many people express that sort of love for what they do. I would be honored to become a Marine. Semper Fi!!!

I whole heartedly agree w/ Julieanne. Ive been dumb on here, Ive gotten my questions answered, Ive made new friends, and overall I have felt the Semper Fi in my veins. I go to the AF site every day and no new posts are there to enjoy. But then I come here and see 23 NEW POSTS to my attitude question which actually has turned into a fiesty argument. That never seems to happen on the other sites!! If Ive learned something here, its that you all REALLY care about who comes into the Marines and what they know before going in. Granted you can only know so much before you get crazed..but HEY.. its a good crazy!
It feels like some of you are family and some act like the older bossy siblings while some whine like the babies of the bunch. But dont we all have our personalities?
I feel about 90% confident to tell my AF recruiter to take my contact and well.. put it somewhere in the depths of AF admin. Not that Im basing my choices on this posting board, but from what I have taken from this board and used to my advantage. I am still vascillating and hopefully in the next few months I will find out what my 'calling' is.
