elusive answers

You're probably going to chuckle when you read this but these are few questions I was honestly curious about. I've purchased probably every book available on life at Parris Island but they don't quite cover this.

Women obviously have very different needs then men, what do you do when that fun time hits every month? I know there are days when I need to be in the ladies' room exactly every 2 hours to keep things under control....thats not going to be very convenient. I've also heard there is no shampoo available on P.I., should I pack for 3 months? As silly as this is, do you shave? I can handle running around all hairy but I'm just really curious. Maybe I should stop shaving now so I can get used to looking at it :)

Anyone want to take a crack at the answers?

Hello- You will have time to go to the head and do your deed. However like most women you'll probably loose your period during boot camp. I did so did my entire platoon. We bought a huge amount of sanitary products are first week there and didn't ever use them.

You can definately by shampoo and razors to shave your legs and armpits and whatever else. You may not get the chance every day, but definately at least once a week. Like on Sundays you get four hours to yourself time to what ever you want I used to soak in the shower, and shave and relax. You will definately be able to take care of all your hygine needs while in boot camp. You'll get in trouble for bad hygiene, and its gross!!
