Finding women in the Military

Like many others I suppose, I have lost touch with quite a few friends from high school. One of my closest friends was a young woman in boot camp to be a marine. Her name was Andrea Kristen Cerutti and she and I lost touch almost 4 years ago. I would like to know how I would go about finding Andrea, assuming she made it through boot camp and became a marine like she dreamed she would. I got a few letters from her describing her experiance at boot camp. But after awhile the letters just stopped coming. Now years later, I can't help wondering what happened to my friend. Since, the letters never actually said she'd completed boot camp, I can't even be sure she is still in military service. But I would still like to try to find her. Is there a directory somewhere I can search, or an authority I can consult to try to locate Andrea? Even if she didn't complete boot camp successfully I am assuming the military has to have some way to locate her?? I suspect she stopped writing because she was worried I would feel differently about her if she didn't get in. But she was one of my best friends and no amount of misunderstandings can change that. I would truly appreciate any help you could provide in finding my friend again.
