Just a short note for all the people who we have been talking to on here. Shannon just got the word from Kansas, her medical is back and she has passed. Yes yes, now she only has to take her physical fitness test and then be sworn in. She has waited a long long time. The Lt is as excited as mom for her. She doesn't know yet it off playing basketball with her college team.lolHe left a message on her answering machine. She is one of the top candidates in her area with a 3.9 GPA. And yes that is men and women so mark one up for the girls side, she beat out the guys with her GPA. Not bragging or anything. She will have no trouble with the fitness test is in really good shape. The Marine Corps made my day today. My little Boot Brat is getting closer to her dream. She will go to OCS this june so anyone out there doing the same you need to get in touch. Just wanted to add. Lt. called and Shannon takes her PFT on sunday 1/23 at 2pm at her school. Then they all clean up and we will have the swearing in ceramony and out to dinner. I don't think it is usually done this way. lol Just she can't get off on the days they are giving the test because of commitement to games. Tell me the Marines don't adapt and improvise.lol:-) Well we are moving right along now it was slow at first now the roller coaster ride is getting ready to start and I have tickets for everyone to go on this ride with me. lol Thanks for being here with me and all the great advice and words of encouragement. Heya Momsarg!!!!! I've been swamped at work and just catching up with everything. I'm gonna go fire off an email to Shannon as soon as MIS gets us back online here (lol). She sounds like she's gonna kick some serious butt!!!!! Congrats:) Will be in touch!
