There are so many things to ask about bootcamp and I've asked them all but my question is actually regarding the hard part of the marines the fleet. Is it really diffcult the way male Marines treat the females. How do you garud yourself from being made fun of or even worset. These this drive me crazy and I want to know how it is when you get in because bootcamp is one thing don't get me wrong I know it will be tough but what about when you are in when you are called pfc or pvt. then what. I can't figure it out they paint one picture but you as women of the marines well I want to know what you say. Whats the differnce in places where your stationed at. Pendelton or Leguen.
Please if you able to email me any websites that would be helpful or email me. I don't have a great chance to check this website a lot.

XNN,
First of all, you are right about the FMF. The Fleet Marine Force is very demanding. Bootcamp and the fleet are 2 totally different things. What they teach you in bootcamp is not what goes on in the fleet. You must be able to fend for yourself. You must respect yourself in order for others to respect you! If you show that you are a weak or flirtacious Marine, they will treat you as such. If you show them otherwise, they will respect you. Be strong and don't put up with things like that. Speak up and don't be affraid to talk to your senior Marines. They are there to help nd guide you, not put you down. Believe me, there are Marines out there that think they can say and do things just because they can...but there are rules that they need to obey. For one, we have general orders, two NJP (Non-Judicial punishment, and three ...the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). These are just some of things that are there to protect you. As far as being called a Pvt or PFC, if the Marine is senior to you they can calln you that all day long. As long as it is done in a proper manner, it is acceptable. Once you become a PFC, LCpl, Cpl, Sgt...you can do the same as long as you do it respectfully. You will never be able to get all the information that you need. Experiencing it first hand is always the best way. Everyones has different experiences, some great and some bad. I will tell you that till this day, it has been the best time of my life!
Good luck and Semper Fi, Cpl. Morales
