I am interested in joining the airforce-my cousin was in the airforce and I can't get a hold of her to ask her questions. But, I heard that the airforce boot camp is alot better than the others. Is this true? In ways I am scared but other ways excited, not so much scared just somewhat nervous. Thanks for any input.-Melissa

Melissa,
I do not know about Air Force training. This being the Marine boards I doubt there would be {m}any of us here with that knowledge. I would "guess" that all the other services have an easier training. Because once one has been through Marine Corps boot camp if they ever change services they do not have to go through another service boot camp. Though someone in another service coming to the Marines does have to do Marine Corps boot camp. If you are looking for answers regarding the Air Force then maybe you should find an Air Force board to post to?

Melissa,
The airforce is one of the branches that is the most easiest, next to the Navy and the Coast Guard. Marine corps boot camp is the longest in duration (12-13 weeks). I believe the Air Force is 8 weeks long... I am not that sure. It's not very long. As far as physical fitness goes, it's easy!!! Don't be scared because when you get there, you will realize that it's not that bad. I felt the same way about Marine Boot camp. Once I got there, it was a piece of cake. People are always affraid of the things that they do not know. Every experience is different. Some are good and some are bad. You need to experience it for your self. Try to find a forum that talks about Air force training. Since this is for female marines, I am not sure if you'll get the answers you want. You are always welcome to post any questions. Good luck!
