Policy owners of Massachusetts Mutual and Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Companies have established the MassMutual Owners Association (MMOA) to advance the best interests of the policy owners. It is believed that the board of directors and management are not serving the best interests of the policy owners.
In particular, these company officials do not want to return more than $4 billion, which is being held for the benefit of policy owners. This massive amount of money, instead, is being hoarded by the company.
