I am a Vietnam veteran of the Navy. I believe that the only thing that should be equal in the United States is OPPORTUNITY. All people should have the chance to work to their level of expertise.
Should a woman be allowed in combat. Some are much better suited than me for that type of job. I spent my career on an aircraft carrier fixing airplanes.
I always encouraged my daughters to do what they thought was right. As a result I have a Desert Storm veteran as mother to three of our grandchildren.
I can only say, let them do what they can.
