Sarah:I'm with you 100%. It's about time that women were made to pay an equal price as men for freedom!! It is important however, that they not be allowed to weaken the fighting ability of the Armed Services in the process. I think you have missed something about equality. To get some kind of logic in your arguments you would have to say that those in front of the landing troops would be about 50/50 men and women, those men and women that are "suitable". You say women should be there because they are weak, well I can asure you there are plenty of men that are just as weak. From that argument there is only one other conclusion make, that infantry, artillery, and tank-troops would consist of those INDIVIDUALS that are most capable for those positions, woman or man, but in this case the proportions probably would be appr. 10-20/80-90 because of the STATISTIC DIFFERENCE in physical strength betwwen men and women.(I'm starting to wonder what kind of women you have met in your life? Considering your opinions, they must be some kind of alians compared to those that I know.)
