Please don't give up your dream of becoming a pilot over the fear of getting harassed or raped by men. The possibility for that happening is the same everywhere you go. I personally believe that women are protected more so in the Air Force than in the outside world. That is what the chain of command and social actions is for. Use them for protection and to report any incidences of harassment. Don't be afraid of a few bad men, most men are generally respectful of women in the Air Force. The Air Force needs pilots, whether they are women or men. And yes, you can make it through the physical aspect of training to be a pilot. Flying a plane is usually flipping switches and pulling back on a yoke that is so easy, a child could do it. So don't let a few conservative people in your country destroy your dream of being a pilot in the U.S. Armed Forces. Our country needs you....
