I want to be a helo pilot in the AF. I was in my school's Sister-school ROTCprogram last semester, but it conflicted too much with my schedule so I had todrop it. I would like to do it again, maybe next year but I want to know ifit's the way to go. I don't know a whole lot about the military but it hasalways intrigued me. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions forme:I heard that if you go to flight school (now I heard this from a navalofficer), it takes two years to learn how to fly and the last six months ofthose two years you learn to fly a helo. Is that true?What exactly happens after you are commissioned? Would I have any choice ofwhere I was stationed?I would greatly appreciate your input! Thanks, Samantha
