I have no problem with men and women training together. However, basic training is usually composed of young men and women just out of high school with hormone levels that are "off the scale", therefore I disagree with housing them together. It is only asking for trouble. Granted there are very mature people out there who will respect privacy and morals, but sadly, there seem to be more that do not. This has lead to many unwanted pregnancys, disciplinary actions and sexual accusations against the other. These all could have been avoided by segregating the living quarters until they reach their permanent duty stations and have had more time to mature.
