I am 21 years old and hoping to join the AF. I would like more information on the general life style of enlisted people. Do you have any free time?

In basic, you will have extremely little free time. in tech school, you have more. When you get into the real Air Force, it largely depends on your job. Many people work normal forty hour weeks and, in general, when you are not working you can do what you want. There are always a lot of parties in the barracks on the weekends if you are into that. Unless you are deployed or have an extremely demanding job, your free time is similar to a civilian's (except you have more rules governing what you can do in your free time). I also know that there are inspections and mandantory cleaning sometimes in the barracks, but I don't think it's frequent.
