I have been strongly debating to join the reservers for about a year now. I am married, and I will soon be 22. My husband was active navy and says that there are other ways to get money for college. I am extreely interested in the areomedical tech program, is there anyone out there who has done that, and could tell me about how long the training is, and if it is as exciting as it seems? I come from a family that is against woman in the military, so they try to scare me, but I am independent, and I seek an interesting career in the medical field and some money for college, I see how much self esteem that people get afterthey finish training. I admit that I am scared to make this decsion and than get to boot camp and have no way out. I do have my husbands support, and I have this strong desire to do this, but I would like to know whatever anyone would like to tell me. I have long hair would it be best to cut it? How oftendo reservists go out on deployments, and how long is a deplyment in the air force? I welcome any advice... THANKS
