I'm now a junior in college. I'm now on my third major and I'm thinking of changing it again. Problem is, I don't know if college is what I want to do right now. The Air Force sounds like an attractive choice. I know I eventually would like to complete my degree (in whatever I decide!), so I am looking at some options. First, is there anyone who has gone through an airman commissioning program? How competative are these programs? Also, has anyone gone through ROTC that could tell me about the program?
I also want to hear all about life in the military, especially from those in the public affairs or biomedical field, enlisted and officers! What is your job like? After training, is life just like a regular nine-to-five job? How much choice do you have in deciding where you're stationed?
I have so many questions! I would love to have anyone who has information to email me for some more in depth discussion.
Thanks so much!
