Military after college

Hi! I'm 21 years old and will graduate college in August 2001 with a BA in psychology. I'm interested in applying to medical school. I'll be taking the MCAT in April. My gpa isn't awful, but med school's usually look for higher ones. If I don't get in medical school right away, I want to work in the medical field.

I'm interested in apply for a medical health professions scholarship through the Air Force. Again, if I don't get into med school, I'd like to work in the medical field. After I receive my degree, can I enter the Air Force as an officer? In the Air Force, what options in the medical field will I have with a BA in psychology. I'd also like to further my degree if I don't get into med school right away.

Thanks for the response! I guess I should have clarified what information I was looking for. I'm really interested in hearing/reading about other women's experiences. Why did you decided to join the military? Are you in the medical field? Likes and dislikes about the military?
