Hi! I am seriously considering joining the Air Force. I'm 26 and probably would go in enlisted and hopefully can finish college through the Air Force. My question is as a an African American woman, I would like to know about some of the experiences that other African American women have with the Air Force. I am interested in all aspects of it. If someone could share their experience with me, I would be so grateful. I also would like to know how easy is it to go to school while you are in the Air Force. Thank you in advance for any info.

Well you can complete your education in the Air Force. They will pay 75% of your tuition at an accredited college. I am a full time service person, mother of two and a college student. As for the African-American aspect, the military is very diverse and multi-cultural. You will work with, live with, and socialize with people from all backgrounds and that what makes it a great experience. I'm a black female and I get along just fine. Good Luck!!
