: I have a fairly simple question. I took the asvab and scored a 45. I was told

I don't know what your Army recruiter is talking about since you scored a 45. The minimum score to get into the Army is 31 and the Air Force is 40. I scored a 47 on the ASVAB and I enjoy every minute of the USAF.
