I have been accepted in the AF OTS as a navigator. I have read the booklet that my recruiter gave me, and have also explored the official web-site thoroughly. I just need some personal stories or information from someone that has been there. I want to know if it's as bad as I am imagining. I was an athlete in high school and college, but have slacked off the past couple of years. I am a member of a gym. I run and lift weights, but my upper-body isn't as strong as my legs. I would like some advice on building strength in that area. Also, I read that women aren't allowed to use rubber bands to put their hair up. What do they use, bobby pins? I don't use actual rubber bands, but the brown elastics. Also, I am a very good at team work, leadership and following, but I am a very emotional person. I AM NOT A QUITTER, but I am afraid that I might break down if things get too tough. Any advice would be helpful.
