HI EVERYONE!
I happened to be cruising the Net and found a NEAT site called www.adoptaplatoon.org. There is this wonderful woman, Ida Hagg, who is the founder and one of the coordinators for this organization which facilitates the communication between the US and deployed soldiers. I believe, at this time, they work mainly with the Army, but I think that any exchanges/communication is vital! I emailed Mrs. Hagg, the 'mom' of the group and its very easy, according to her, to begin the process. You can go to site, retrieve her email address and read more information so you can start from there.
If you are interested in keeping up the moral and well-being of our troops overseas, please feel free to visit the site and see where and how you might be able to fit in!
