Can anyone give me any information on PLC Aviation? Are women allow to be in the program? I am a senior in high school and I'm thinking about attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University which is an aviation college. I have heard that women can't be pilots in the U.S. Marines if that is true would there be any point to taking PLC Aviation?

I am planning to go to OCS next summer in the marines. I graduated college last spring. I was originally going in for the pilots program because I graduated college with a BS in Aviation Science, but I have recently changed my mind. I am still goin in, but for a another career. You can be a pilot in the marines as a female and you may fly everything they have to offer. However, you can not do the PLC. It is only for males. When you are a junior or a senior you may go to the 10 week OCS training. They offer the 10wk class 3 times a year and women are eligible for 2 of them; the summer and fall. From everyone that I have talked to it is a lot better to go for one 10wk session than for two 6 wk sessions anyway. Good luck with everything. I am pilot and flying is one of the greatest things I have ever done. Just be prepared for the 10 year commitment.
