I do not believe there is a book out there to study for it. As a retired recruiter, while I was recruiting, I never came across one. The link above breaks out the scoring for you.
Good Luck.

You can't really study for it, it is more of an aptitude test. Some knowledge of grammar might help some, prior knowledge of two or three other foreign languages (or at least their basic structure) helps. Short of being a Linguistics major, your best bet is to go in there well-rested and having avoided sugar for your last meal so you won't sleep through it. It will put all sorts of pretend grammar rules your way, and see if you can keep four or five of them straight at realspeed. It will also see if you can hear differences in accents on syllables, and a few vocabulary learning scenarios.

I took the DLAB in march, and got a score allowing me to learn any of the languages taught at the school in california. i would say that the main thing that helped me was taking french and spanish in school, because it opened my brain to different forms of grammar. even if you don't know another language, it would be good to look over the grammar structure of one, just to get an idea of what you could be dealing with.
when i went to the MEPs center, my physical ran late, so i didn't get to eat lunch before the test. i was so hungry that my hands were shaking! my reqruiter said it's common for female's physicals to take longer than male's, so i suggest making sure the they know you are taking the test and that you MUST eat a good meal before to do well. that way they will try to get you out faster.
and don't freak out during the test! it's really hard, but the fact that you are even taking the test means that your ASVAB scores showed potential. just relax and you'll do your best. good luck!

You can't study for it and honestly, knowing another language doesn't matter in the least bit.
I scored pretty high on mine when I took it and didn't speak another language. Most of the sections had no rhyme or reason. Just take your time with the questions and look at them like brain teasers.
