I am honored to invite vetrans or active duty member of our Armed Forces to be our guest speaker for Women's History Month (March 2005) at the Fort Myer installation located 5 miles from the Pentagon. The purpose of our observance is to educate our soldiers and civilians on the many accomplishments of women throughout our nations history.
No set date has been selected for the month of March as we would like to commemorate the event according to an opening on your calendar if we are fortunate enough to have any of you accept this invitation.
The observance will be held at Town Hall on Fort Myer. The theme of this year's observance is "Women Change America". As the guest speaker we would invite you to speak for 15 to 25 minutes on topic of Women's History and share some of your personal experiences if possible. The audience will consist of soldiers and civilians of the Fort Myer, Fort McNair, and other surrounding Department of Defense communities.
