My father-in-law Frank Cookingham stepped on a landmine on November 30, 1944 in the Vosges Mountains of France while serving with 103rd Cactus Division. As a result of his injuries, his left leg needed to be amputated. During this time he was befriended by a Army Nurse from Newburgh, NY. He does not remember her name but would like very much to make contact with her or her family. We have three photographs with her in them. I have exhausted all avenues of trying to find her for my father-in-law. IF ANYONE KNOWS HER PLEASE ANSWER THIS MESSAGE. Jim Seymour[/b]
