paper on opportunities for women in the military

hello,
for my school research paper i chose the topic of women in the military and the opportunities for them now compared to 30 or 40 years ago. if you have any information or input on this subject that would help me out, i would really appreciate it.

If you go to http://www.wrei.org and then click on the site map and go to the military woman section, you will find many statistics that will show the growth of women in the military in many different areas from the opening of jobs and positions to rank structure and so forth. What is not listed on the actual site, you can get their pamphlet "Women in the Military, Where We Stand" and you will find even more in depth outline of growth.
