Did my basic training 5/31/1960, Company B, 5th Platoon, Sgt. Koke as D.I. Went to CTC @ Ft McClellan for 8 weeks. Then assigned to Governor's Island, Ft. Jay, New York City 10/1960 to 11/1961. Volunteered for overseas going to Heidelberg, Germany, Patton Barracks, WAC Detachment. Worked at Campbell Barracks in 65th DPU, 11/1961 until my discharge. Would like to hear from other WAC's who may have served at the same time. :)
