Hi. I am 15 years old and for a while now, not only have i been considering the marines, but that is what i WANT to do right when i get out of high school. I have a problem though: my weight. I need to lose about 25-30 pounds, and i excersize alot, i just have a problem with eating. I run everyday, workout in the gym, and i do track so that also helps. I just want to know if snyone can help me, because i have 2 years until i graduate from high school, i just want to be prepared.

Have you met with a dietician? It could be how much you eat, or probably what you eat. How much soda do you have each day? That alone is a lot of empty calories that are easy to cut out. Secondly, keep track of your body fat. There are people who just have a heavier build without being fat. You get a waiver for the weight, and as long as you are under the body fat requirements (28%) then you are perfectly fine. So have dual goals - either weight or fat percentage.

Have you tried eating 5 or 6 smaller meals a day, instead of big meals every 5 or 6 hours? Look into that style of eating, you'll kick start your metabolism and start to drop weight.

Good luck!

And remember, before starting any diet/excercise program, have your folks take you to see your doctor and get any/all info from him/her. They may have you see a dietician as well. It's better to be safe than sorry. And take your time.
