Nominations close Feb. 25 for the 2010 Military Child Award.
The award recognizes the service and sacrifices of the nation’s youngest heroes. Nominees must be enrolled in the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System and be between the ages of 8 and 18.
The winner will receive $5,000 and will be flown with a parent or guardian to Washington, D.C., for the award ceremony. Meals and accommodations for two will also be provided.
